What is it you do?
"La Brasserie de la Lesse is a social cooperative where we brew craft beer and reinvent the world through meaningful projects: local, eco-friendly raw materials, low-energy brewing, local and fair trade."
What prompted you to seek "Famenne-Ardenne UNESCO Global Geopark Partner" status?
"The desire to be part of our heritage and playour part in recognising local skills and knowhow. Several of your geosites are only a few hundred metres from our brewery, so we want to offer the many people who come to visit them an opportunity to learn more about our region."
What is your approach to sustainable development and environment friendly practices?
"The brewery operates as a social cooperative. Production is designed to consume as little energy as possible. Our aim is to promote the local economy and to make use of organic and local raw materials."
