Our missions :

• To support, develop and promote all activities linked to our natural and built heritage, but also belonging to the culture and tourism sectors ;
• To define, identify, protect and preserve our geosites ;
• To promote, develop, protect and preserve the geological heritage of the Geopark. In so doing our heritage becomes an instrument of sustainable development benefiting not only current but also future generations;
• The development of the tourism, economical and social sectors in order to ensure quality of life on the territory;
• to support all companies and undertakings that make use of our natural and human resources, but do so in manner that is respectful of the environment ;
• To receive the public, but also to encourage the education and information of the general public. We also want to encourage people to get closer to nature, and raise local awareness in the field of environmental issues and the preservation of our geoheritage ;
• Scientific research that contributes to research programs whose mission are to initiate and introduce new procedures and tools ;
• To demonstrate the international significance of our geological and cultural and architectural tourism heritage with as main objective the exploration, development and celebration of the connections between this geological heritage and all other aspects of our natural, cultural and immaterial heritage ;
• To bring about an in-depth reflection on the possibility of additional tools in the field of town and country planning ;
