Educational activities for schools
Explore the Famenne-Ardenne Geopark with your class! The Famennene-Ardenne Geopark offers schools within its territory a range of tailor-made educational activities, enabling pupils to discover and understand the exceptional geological, natural and cultural heritage of their region.
Our workshops are designed to spark young learners’ curiosity, strengthen their connection with their environment, and encourage reflection on the challenges of sustainable development.

The Famenne-Ardenne Geopark currently offers educational workshops focused on the discovery of rocks, fossils and local geology.
For other themes such as biodiversity, water, cultural heritage, or sustainable development, many educational resources are already available in the region, provided by local partners (nature centers, museums, NGOs, etc.).
Activities are organized throughout the school year, upon request and subject to availability. They can take place in the field or in the classroom.
Duration: from 2 hours to half a day.
