What is it you do?
"Our 19th century farm in the heart of the village of Grandhan offers three fully self-contained gîtes for visiting tourists, providing accommodation for anything from 2 to 26 guests. We also have a covered games room, a mini-farm for children to explore, and a restored bread oven that is fired up every Sunday. Our farm gîtes are an ideal opportunity to enjoy a stay with family or friends and make the most of a unique setting in the Durbuy region."
What prompted you to seek "Famenne-Ardenne UNESCO Global Geopark Partner" status?
"We decide to sign up to a label when we feel there is a real affinity. We are firmly committed to ecotourism and immersive tourism. We like helping our guests develop a greater awareness of nature all around us, and how to respect it. We also enjoy sharing the knowledge and experience we have acquired in terms of ecology, nature walks, and a range of different activities in symbiosis with the environment and the animals."
What is your approach to sustainable development and environment friendly practices?
"We have qualified for "Green Key eco-gîtes" and "nature network" labels because nature and the environment are very important to us. We capture rainwater andrestrict water flows from taps, we have installed LED bulbs, we sort our waste, and we showcase local products."
